So what does all that mean? It means that you can choose from several models ranging from 1,100 sq ft all the way to 6,000 sq ft. Each of these models can be modified to suit your needs. Or we can build a fully customized home for you. 

All the homes are built in large warehouses in Hamilton, Montana to your exact specifications and delivered to your building site for assembly. 

Advantages: 

• Much faster construction time. Whisper Creek provides you everything to dry in your home except for the exterior doors and roofing material. Most homes are dried-in in a week or less.
• Standardized building methods can be applied. Since Whisper Creek homes are not full log homes but are actually log-sided homes that are built on 2x6 framing, the electrical, plumbing, and all other finishes are standard, this saves you money as compared to a traditional log home.

So how does this all work?

• Consultation. Swan Realty will assist you in designing the perfect home for you and your lifestyle. Each home can be customized with porches, gables, dormers, balcony's etc. and a no obligation quote can be provided.
• Land acquisition. If you already have a build site, great! If not, Swan Realty will provide whatever assistance is needed in order to acquire a build site for your project. The build site will also be evaluated in order to assess the site prep. that will be required, retainment, truck and crane accessibility etc. 
• Home design, Swan Realty will work with you to design the home just the way you want it. The design process will include matching you up with one of our models plus whatever add ons or modifications you desire, (porches, dormers, etc) and we will even help you design the entire interior layout. Whisper Creek provides many sample interiors however, each one of these can be modified or you can do a full custom interior, the choice is your. 
• Engineering. Once the house is fully designed a 10% deposit is required to submit the house to engineering. Engineering takes about two weeks to complete. The engineered plans will be sent back to you for approval and any changes can be made at this point. Whisper Creek will provide complete engineering services to include the entire house, foundation, and subfloor. Sample plans are available upon request. 
• Production. Upon approval of the engineered plans, the house will be scheduled for production. Depending upon the size of the home and current production volume, the home is usually completed within four to eight weeks once production has begun. An additional 40% is required to move the home into the production phase. 
• Site Prep and Foundation. While the home is in production, the site will be prepped and the foundation and subfloor will be built. Whisper Creek will provide a complete set of engineered plans including foundation and subfloor. The foundation can be built anytime prior to delivery, however, it is best to complete the subfloor about a week prior to the delivery of the home.
• Delivery and Assembly. Delivery and assembly generally happen at the same time. Once production is completed, a delivery date will be scheduled. The first truck usually arrives the day before assembly is to begin to ensure everything is ready to go up first thing in the morning. The walls, interior logs, and beams will be lifted by a crane from the truck and placed in their proper location on the subfloor. They will then be bolted in place and this process will continue until the truck has been been unloaded. If the house requires more than one truck, the second truck will usually arrive the following day.
• Finishing: Once all the Whisper Creek components have been installed the interior walls, electrical, plumbing, can then be started.
